Inspiration

Anne Hathaway

Ever since my parents took us kids to the theater to see The Princess Diaries, I have been in love with Anne Hathaway. She is gorgeous in a way that is not mainstream Hollywood and she can pull off a variety of looks and hairstyles. I loved her wardrobe in The Devil Wears Prada and have included some pictures from that for inspiration.

Pippa Middleton
As Pippa, younger sister to Kate, comes into the spotlight, so has her keen sense of fashion. While similar to Kate's classic and sophisticated look, Pippa is more casual since she is not attending royal engagements on a regular basis.  She is another great example of modest and sexy.  I love how Pippa sports a variety of looks and yet rocks every single one.

Pippa Middleton comes back in the London and doing those things which she does her best. Pippa Middleton made her first appearance at London Fashion Week last night and sat front row at the designer’s Spring/Summer 2012 show during London Fashion Week. She was looking very stunning, glamrous and beautiful in a cream and black mini dress. Meanwhile actress Rosario Dawson also captured the eyes of audience,

Did I mention she is a newly published author? I am beyond excited for "Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends."  Here are four outfits Pippa wore at book signings in London in just one day. Busy gal!

Piper Perabo as Annie Walker on Covert Affairs
I'm completely hooked on this show that follows the missions of gifted CIA operative Annie Walker. She dresses perfectly for every occasion on the show and what I particularly love is how classic her outfits are. They are both timeless and reproducible. Another interesting element is how she pulls off casual-Bohemian, sporty, sexy, sweet-feminine, and classy-elegant outfits. This is exactly what I have been striving to do with my wardrobe; be versatile and not get caught up on one signature look. There is one signature item found in Annie Walker's wardrobe: Christian Louboutin heels. Although they're entirely too tall for me to wear, I LOVE the red sole. Check out the many looks of Covert Affairs below.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge

She may be the classiest "celebrity" of our times, reminding this generation that, like Audrey Hepburn, modesty does not have to boring and can actually be quite sexy.  She popularized dresses, hats, and hose along with showing us that it is possible to "Keep calm and carry on." No further elaborations necessary. The pictures speak for themselves.

Sarah Shahi

I first saw Sarah on the show "Life" and was instantly drawn to her character and fiesty persona as she portrayed Detective Reece.  An added bonus is that she is a petite brunette and Hollywood seems to be lacking in our demographic.  Now Sarah stars as a legal mediator in the hit show "Fairly Legal." Here are a few pictures to show her classy, yet artsy/Boho, style which lends itself well to the show set in San Francisco. Lots of great coats/blazers, over the shoulder bags which I LOVE, and cute details like bracelets and layered necklaces.
